Seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide rehabilitation for sub-acute and long term care residents to maintain their health and wellness, and outpatients from the community.

Clinical Responsibilities

  •  Applies therapeutic techniques involving muscle strength, coordination, endurance, functional mobility,   postural control, sensory awareness, functional balance, daily living skills and community integration per   the treatment plan as defined by the Occupational Therapist.
  •  Utilizes modalities including, but not limited to, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, diathermy, and cold   laser.
  •  Complies with reimbursement guidelines for various payer sources.
  •  Attends all meetings and in-services as directed by immediate supervisor.
  •  Travels to various facilities to assist with clinical care and coverage as requested.
  •  Relates and communicates positively, effectively, and appropriately with staff, clients, families, community   members, and other clinical staff.
  •  Follows infection control and safety standards, policies, procedures.
  •  Basic dictation and computer skills for documentation, data entry and utilization of electronic mail

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations: All employees are required to wear masks and eye shields throughout patient care. Additional PPE may be required as well. Employees are tested for COVID-19 on a bi-weekly basis.

• Associate (Required)

Experience:

  •  COTA: 2 years (Required) License/Certification:
  •  Occupational Therapy Assistant License (Required)
