The Online Nursing Program Director shoulders the responsibility of overseeing the day-to-day operations of the online nursing programs within the College of Health Sciences, positioning themselves as a leader in nursing education matters. Their role encompasses providing supervision and administrative leadership to the entire online nursing program and its staff. Serving as the primary liaison, they cultivate relationships with online nursing faculty and students. They are charged with establishing and maintaining affiliations with clinical sites, conducting assessments of student academic achievement and clinical practice outcomes, and conducting instructional program reviews. They diligently ensure compliance with the regulations outlined by the Michigan Board of Nursing for Nursing Education and actively pursue program accreditation. Moreover, they oversee the selection and admission process for the nursing program's professional track.

Collaborating closely with the Dean, you'll enhance curriculum rigor and instructional quality while overseeing the development and review process. Moreover, you'll ensure compliance with accreditation standards, author essential reports, and facilitate advisory boards for program enhancement.
