Job Duties
Under direct supervision, performs routine security activities to protect buildings and property and safeguard occupants and visitors during normal operations and special events.
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
The ability to follow oral and written instructions; complete basic reports; detect situations imperiling life, safety, and property; perform extensive sitting, standing, and walking; communicate effectively and operate two way radios and telephones is required.

Job Duties
Under direct supervision, performs routine security activities to protect buildings and property and safeguard occupants and visitors during normal operations and special events.
- Secures and monitors entrances and exits to buildings and property.
- Patrols buildings and grounds and notifies appropriate personnel when problems and safety threats arise.
- Completes logs and basic reports as instructed.
- Assists with traffic control, crowd control, and parking enforcement.
- Responds to routine inquiries from staff, students and visitors.
- Maintains communication with appropriate personnel utilizing equipment such as two-way radios and telephones.
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
