Social Media & Marketing Coordinator
Department: Marketing & Development
Hours: Full-Time - schedule may vary.
Position Objective: Responsible for updating & maintaining TradeWinds social media sites, TradeWinds website, chambers information/sites, partner portals; marketing TradeWinds newsletters, eblasts, etc. through applicable resources. Also assist Director of Development and Marketing with marketing activities including CARF reporting & materials, brand development, public relations, chamber and community relations, and fundraising efforts.
Position Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following)
- Update and maintain social media sites regularly:
- X (formerly Twitter)
- Snapchat
- Other appropriate media
- Communication/Brand Awareness/Reports
- Update TradeWinds website pages and other contracted platforms – i.e., TradeWinds website – Program pages, Career page, News page, new information about events, photos, employee portal, troubleshoot website problems working with webmaster as necessary.
- Enter/maintain job postings on TradeWinds website and free chambers websites, communicate with WorkOne, etc.
- Work with other departments on outreach to seek staffing and/or new clientele (such as state agencies & Case Management social service organizations designated by the state)
- Update information on partner sites (i.e. Food Bank, etc.).
- Seek opportunities for fundraising using various platforms (i.e. Blackbaud).
- Use Constant Contact (or other resources) to create newsletters (monthly/quarterly), create and send eblasts for marketing to public or staff, create surveys & reports as needed.
- Assist with advertising through designer/artist or various vendors (newspaper, partners, state agencies, & other resources applicable to market services & open positions.
- Work with Director of Development & Marketing on contract agreements and/or billing analysis, as needed.
- Work with all departments on annual CARF Performance Reports, update department brochures (both English & Spanish) for marketing and CARF.
- Participate in internal & external events as TradeWinds representative.
Job requirements:
- Excellent command/strong skills of current technology.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Publisher applications
- Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, and strong time management skills.
- Demonstrate the highest of personal and ethical standards.
- Attend mandatory TradeWinds meetings.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must clear TradeWinds background check & drug screen.
- Ability to work within a team framework.
Education: High School Diploma; Sales/Marketing experience preferred.
Contact with Others: Marketing department & organization-wide staff; Business and community leaders, Board of Directors, donors, and supporters; TradeWinds clientele; General Public.
Working Conditions: Remote work location or Office (as needed); occasional driving; occasional community locations; ability to lift 10 – 15 pounds; standing; sitting.
Additional: Must have a valid driver’s license with no suspensions for traffic infractions during the past three years and be at least 21 years of age. Must clear TradeWinds background checks.
