Human Resources Coordinator
Looking to work in a team environment where your contributions will make a difference while expanding your skills and experience in Human Resources? Our Human Resources team is looking to add to the team someone with strong administrative skills who can provide administrative support and be responsible for several administrative Human Resources tasks. The ideal candidate will report to the Associate VP and the Associate Director of HR.
Responsibilities include training coordination, daily processing of I9’s, assist with the monthly HR budget, assist with preparing benefit packets, handling data entry tasks into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and other clerical duties as requested. This position will also handle meeting and appointment scheduling and be involved in some special projects with the Associate VP and Director of HR.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in human resources or related field preferred; high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Two+ years of relevant experience working in HR.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized and efficient with the ability to multi-task; excellent time-management skills.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to follow directions accurately and determine improvements and efficiencies, and recommend changes.
- Willing to take initiative and work independently when needed.
- HR competence and knowledge of HR process and computer programs.
